Tio Pepe En Rama Saca 2015 is pure poetry in a bottle. Every year I look forward to drinking a few bottles of this enchanting wine. Antonio Flores, Master Blender of Bodegas Gonzalez Byass, selected 60 casks from two of Tio Pepe's legendary Soleras to bottle this sixth edition of Tio Pepe En Rama. The term "En Rama" refers to the wine's purest state; that means "unfiltered" and "unclarified". Cask-to-bottle is a very labor intensive process for Master Blender Antonio Flores and his team, but as Antonio poetically puts it, "Nothing in life comes easy without effort and commitment".
The 2015 vintage of Tio Pepe En Rama is purely expressive, with notes of green olives, citrus, and great freshness and purity. The Palomino varietal and the terroir of Jerez take center stage in this wine. Antonio’s magical blending touch gives the wine balance and structure. Drink Tio Pepe En Rama with your favorite charcuterie, cheeses, and pates. As a wine drinker who enjoys the pleasures of a great bottle of wine, I encourage you to grab a bottle and discover this beautiful wine from the enigmatic land of Jerez.
