Beaujolais Villages La Cuvee du Chat bottle
This wine takes easy drinking to the next level. La Cuvee du Chat shows pretty red-berry, floral aromas, and a touch of earthiness that you would expect from a Morgon. This Beaujolais possesses great poise and follow-through. At 12% alcohol, this Beaujolais from Jean-Claude Chanudet is easy to drink, especially with a slight chill. So don't be afraid to pop it in the fridge for up to 25 minutes! La Cuvée du Chat hails from a 2.5 hectare vineyard outside of Morgon, and is like the Cru in generosity and structure. From 80 year old vines which are hand harvested.

La Cuvee du Chat Label
Some details on La Cuvee du Chat from Jean Claude Chanudet: Carbonic maceration followed by natural yeast fermentation in enamel tanks. The wine then rests on its lees in foudre and is bottled with minimal sulfur. Top quality at a reasonable price; you don't have to like cats to dig this wine.
