Hi,
Today I thought I'd present the visual images of a great tasting here at 67 wine! This was fun one for me, as most of the wines are here because I chose them for the store- and they are all amazing (as one might expect for wines from one of the United States top importers). We were honored to have Liz Farley here to pour for us. Supremely knowledgable as well as being charming, she is the East Coast manager for Kermit Lynch wines. Here are the images:

Liz, Bart and some happy customers!

All the happy tasters!!

The first wine - Jouget Touraine; Chenin Blanc
from the loire valley . .crisp and amazing.

The second wine- St. Martin de la Garrigue's fantastic
Picpoul de Pinet. Crisp, full, and in Oc the Picpoul
translates as mouthbiter!

The final white of the tasting. This is a favorite of mine,
Bandol Blanc from Terrebrune- certified organic too!
On to the reds!

Foillard Morgon cote du py. 2007. Like jouget, totally
a founder of the natural wine movement in france.
This is a structured meaty light red . . silky and great!

Traverses de Fontanes . . .A cabernet Sauvignon grown in a
biodynamic way, and so light and earthy- in the best way . .
steel aged and fermented- just amazing wine!

Finally, the Maxime Magnon La demarrante 2008.
The garagiste of the tasting, still renting his Cinsault and
Carignon vines, and making amazing natural beautiful
southern French reds!

Finally, a sweet treat- a sauternes . . fun and delicous!

Thats it for tonight! I'll see you all on monday!
