First, I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. Second, good luck to the people running the NYC marathon, especially Bart Hopkins (our famous Italian and California wine buyer!) and all our friends.

So, Mike and I tasted the Ragnaud Unblended #10 Cognac yesterday night. This is a great Cognac, though on the lighter side for this sort of a product. It has a nice citrus nose with hints of anise, wheat and toast. In the mouth it tastes of grapiness and wood, light and racy for a spirit with a great finish and flavor this is a drink that will be to heavy for in between dinner and dessert or to close out a night. Nice!
