I drank this along side a Veal Chop breaded with a healthy dose of Italian herbs  (oregano, thyme, and parsley) and pan fried.

This middleweight wine was a very good choice. The herb and savory meaty flavors were reflected in the wine. As usual, the slightly sharp acidity of a good Tuscan wine like this one cut through the weight of the breading to cleanse the palate between mouthfuls.

We don't do a lot of veal. Besides the expense, I'm not very happy about the way veal calves are supposedly treated. Once or twice a year, I let my taste buds overrule my conscience. It really is a delicious meal. It will be a long while, though, before I do it again.
