For all of our readers who have the opportunity to come to our brick and mortar store, I'd like to invite you to join us for our tastings. We are usually pouring something everyday except Sunday, from 4pm to 7pm. All of our in store tastings are free and open to the public (21 and over, of course). In fact, when we taste spirits and wine, we give you a discount if you choose to purchase at that time. We have a few different types of tastings at our stores, and all of them are casual, informative, and lots of fun.

Ben mentioned Monday's Mystery Wine Night. This is shaping up to be a lot of fun. The atmosphere is one of a game show or carnival game. Anyone can guess, we don't penalize for wrong answers or display some version of wine geek intimidation. The staff gets stumped, too. So you get to taste wine, win bigger discounts, and learn in the process.

Tuesday nights belong to Organic Wines. Bart Hopkins is very knowledgeable about the wines we carry and organic principles and procedures. Taste how good Organics can be and have your questions answered.

Wednesday is Buyer's Night if we don't have a guest host. We just instituted our "Buyer's Choice" stickers throughout the store to draw your attention to wine we find to represent the best of the section. This is an opportunity to catch our enthusiasm by trying the wines we love and get to know the staff. All of our buyers are salespeople, on the floor, on the phones, committed to working with our customers to find wines that suit and please them. So stop by, have a sip and say "hi".

The rest of the week we host wine makers, importers, and sales reps who will offer a good selection( usually 5-6 wines are poured) at many price points. This is a great opportunity to learn the wines from those who know them in depth. We also taste spirits on the first floor most weekends.

There are other more formal events we host. Some of these cost money. We collaborate with Tavern on the Green to host sit down tastings with food. We also have book signings from time to time. Our website offers information on these special events as well as who is coming to visit every week.
